We have three main programs at Refuge of Light • Our specialized residential program, the Refuge Safe Home, for young girls 10-17 years of age who have been sex trafficked • Our non-residential mentoring program, ‘Brave Girl’, for young girls who are at a high risk for sex trafficking in East Texas • Our ‘Traffick Signals’ Training class for educating the community, because prevention is the key to success in winning this battle for our children

Our dream to help these girls began in 2008. The vision of Refuge of Light is to transform the broken life into the brilliant life through individualized plans of restoration. To equip these young girls with confidence and the skills to realize and formulate their own vision for a new, healthy, and meaningful life.
